I think that little winky thing was supposed to imply that he was just poking ya for a fun reaction, maybe not the full-blown one that he's getting. You are right about Buicks, they have no sports cars, but they did. If you've ever fun a GNx you know this. I used to have a rough time with those at the 1/4 mile strip in my old '76 Trans-Am with a worked 455. REAL fast cars. You, with the Buick, have to realize that this is a SATURN REDLINE FORUM. Full of people that may, or may not, have rational expectations about their cars. I really don't think anyone that is into the racing aspect of cars IS rational about their cars, I know I'm not. As far as getting our heads out of the clouds, why should we? We finally have a platform that with the right support, can take the best of the sport-compact segment and make them stop laughing at people in Saturns. I know I have a chip on my shoulder wherever I go with the car. There are a few older guys in Acura CL/TL type of cars that can attest to this fact now. Until a Saturn driving sports car fan can get the same respect that any other Honda/Toyota/Nissan/etc. driver gets, I think people will continue to have that chip on their shoulder. Why not? We didn't put it there, it was put there for us by classmates, car magazines, enthusiasts of motorsports, and drivers next to us at a red light. If you want Redline drivers to react rationally, then maybe ya'll shouldn't have degraded the cars for 10 years. Last I checked BTW, Buick dosen't really rate much higher in peoples minds either. My mother just got a 2004 Buick Rendevous, VERY nice car/suv thing, I love it! However, upon telling someone that she got a Buick most people shake their head and ask why.
