Damn, are you gunna have enough room that way? Either way you're gunna have to take off the tranny mounts, driveaxles, and anything else in the way. So the only step between that and actually removing the tranny is disconnecting the electrical connectors. Just pull the tranny and save yourself a headache.

I don't believe it is any more difficult that RWD.
