First off...

Next, since So Cal is so HUGE, I think it's best to divide into chapters:
Ventura
Los Angeles
Orange County
San Diego
Inland Empire/San Bernandino (?)

Each chapter would run themselves how they want, obviously, but I'd say weekly/bi-weekly meets, and then a So Cal meet maybe once a month/bi-monthly (rotating locations btw each chapter)? ie...if OC is hosting the SCRLA/SCRLC bi-/monthly meet, THEY choose the venue, date/time, etc. If this is the route we decide, we'll need chapter "heads/leaders" which we can choose at the first So Cal meet.

Next order of business is a logo...here's where the graphically-inclined come in. Let's see what'cha got?

If anyone has any other thoughts/ideas - post them here! The quicker/more inputs we get, the sooner we can get things off the ground and rolling.

I'm no lawyer, but if there are any legalities involved with any of this, someone with legal connections should check into this so we do it right the first time.

It's mid-April already, I'd say we should be able to shoot for the first So Cal meet sometime mid-late May...Memorial Day maybe???
