thats the point you learn why you drop limp mode and tune it out. This way you can get rid of codes, learn to add power with fuels, spark curves, boost values, hell you can get fancy with it.
Like spooner you can make a 100 octane tune so when the car senses the fuel its balls to the wall power. Then if he was creative a 87 tune that keeps boost from rising over say 10 and get excellent milage out of it. So a few hours before track day a tank of 100 and the car will adapt to that table and your off.
