This is getting quite unfunny now. AEM does not recommend removing the stock air box, never have and anyone that does so are not following the instructions that come with the product. So saying that when some one rips off the air box and hangs a high flow is the same thing as a AEM intake is not accurate and is misleading in regards to what the AEM product is and how it is installed. Further more, it gives the person that did the ghetto mod the idea that they are doing the same thing that a major aftermarket manufacture is doing and thus leads to some level of credibility for that junk, ghetto intake mod.
