What bothers me is the pump is rated to deliver 6 gallons a minute with low back pressure. Thats close to the volume you get out of the hose at home. Now way wee see that much velocity in the fill neck. I think WOP mentioned the acual in line flow for the intercooler system was about 2 gallons a minute. Centrigugal pumps are very sensitive to resistance in the flow path.

It seems to me that having the wireing reversed will not affect the direction of flow. The pump rotation will change. It will affect the volume of fluid pumped however.

Bottom line
We need one of the guys with a properly working system verified by a data log to see how their system responds to these simple tests.
