Step 1: Remove intake (makes it a lot easier to get it from the bottom
Step 2: Jack car up and place securely on jack stands
Step 3: Unplug stock sending unit and unscrew from oil cooler assembly
Step 4: Order Autometer part #2278 from your local auto store (I got mine shipped over night, only cost me just under $13 for the part)
Step 5: Separate sending unit from stock adapter (I clamped the sensor with vise grips and used a wrench to unscrew the adapter).
Step 6: Apply thread tape to gauge sending unit and to stock adapter threads
Step 7: Screw gauge sending unit to Autometer adapter, and screw assembly to stock adapter.
Step 8: Attach sending unit wire before you thread unit into the oil cooler (This will make it so much easier when you're running your wires)
Step 9: Screw assembly into oil cooler
Step 10: Run your wires and you're done.
