You don't want the problems associated with intakes on these cars? But you're gonna do a drop in? That makes little sense. The problems people have had mainly relate to throwing CEL's because the oil on the filter gunks up the MAF sensor. But that is few and far between. So a drop in will cause the same problem potentially. Others have problems with the Typhoon because they have a leak somewhere because of the initial installation. I have the Typhoon, have had for 18 months with NO problems. I'm not the only one. The people with problems are the minority. It doesn't hamper the cars performance generally either. They just throw a light and it either goes away on its own or they have to clean the MAF sensor. No big deal. The big plus to a Typhoon is the bitchin' cool whine it allows the supercharger to do. |
