^lol...i just passed my welding test on the plasma cutter tonight
(i can now cut aluminum, 304 SS, and steel up to 3/8" thick)
its not the top thats the major heavy part. its the convertible motor, and all the extra chasis stiffening (due to it not having a roof...).
