max timing.

question, has anyone, besides myself played around with the timing limits on the lsj? i figured id ask this here since i can't get a straight answer anywhere else.

my daily driver tune runs 23 degree's total advance. it starts at 14 degree's and just ramps up from there. nice safe for the insane heat we have here right now.

the "other" tune. starts at 23 degree's and ramps quickly to 25-26 degree's.

in short. the ceiling of the "usuable" timing. sure i can cram 28 degree's down it right now, but why. if it doesn't make anymore power, whats the point. my feeling is, 25.5-26 degree's is pretty much the limit on it.

whats everyone else's take on this.

I don't care, and it doesn't matter, if you are 100% completely right and he is 100% completely wrong. He is a paid, supporting vendor. And we don't allow vendor bashing.
