In order to compare apples to apples you should look at the expected price of Hahn's LSJ turbo conversion kit compared to Harrops TVS Conversion. Like I said, the twinscrew blower itself is roughly $2k iirc, and you don't swap blowers like people do turbos. Usually, one swap to a unit that will flow what you want, and then you use the modular pulley system, which seems easier to me than swapping out turbo's for more airflow.
With the efficiency of the new blower compared to the old M62 unit, it's also a big win. That and, how long does it take you to take off the M62, 10 mins? How long would it take to bolt on the TVS if it really is a complete bolt on unit, another 10-15 mins? So you're looking at what, half hour tops for this conversion, compared to how long with a turbo setup? That and most people on this board could swap the blower, but how many could successfully install a turbo conversion without having a professional do it?
