MIkey, we are running our customer cars , it rained here at the track (tremblant) big car Z06 finished p2 on pirelli rains, lapped the Viper ; in Mosport it rained too but race was dry, big car Z06 rookie on Michelin slicks had a tough day, went to the race abs cal (no active handling comp mode or t/c) and rookie discovered that big car had been saving his ass all this time...several spins, 10, 5, 2 (tire wall visit, no Khumos there) so #1 son gets to fix the car (done for the w/e) but up north me and Kiwi stull have our running tomorrow...

Blue Hot Rod doooood! I had some experience with a set of BFGs not long ago...16" was all that were made available. I have several sets of 16" wheels so I say what the heck, let's give it a try... (the Kumho gang didn't have a suitable 17" tire for us until last year, so for quite some time I had been running 16" stuff) anyway...the BFG was very nice... Crisp turn-in, forgiving in the mid-corner and great forward bite off. We saw unforgiveable wear at outside edge... with some blistering... But it was good tire... With more time and testing we could have made 'em work well. I like the 17 Kumho's - they fit nice on the 17x7 wheels. So far have shown to be durable and pretty quick... I've been pleased with 17" performance. As you know, SCCA took our overdriven pulley and aftercooler. Making speed has been challenging, and the Honda S2000s are now the class of T3 class in SCCA. I've been keeping up, and getting lucky with decent finishes. But still not making the speed of the Hondas.... Haven't been on the Michelins - I hear they are dynamite skins... Sorry to hear of the Mosport shunt...yer #1 son is good kid, he'll get that hot rod up and running in short order. I've heard of many SCCAT1 guys having issues with ABS. Different from yer guy, That ABS and comp mode does wonders on that Corvette. Why don't you guys run with cal that provides forgiveness? Okay blue doood - have fun up North...be fast...be safe! I'll talk atcha later...
