Shitty - My 4th run (innacurrately reported as a 52.6xx, actually a 50.6xx) was 8/10ths faster than my best clean run, and I hit the 2nd to last cone on the whole course, lol. Rookie shit, too - not one I shoulda hit. That woulda put by 8th in raw time and 3rd in PAX!! Oh well... Also note, a few of the best drivers in the region weren't there, so I likely woulda been 8th or 9th or so PAX and a little further down in raw time as well.
Still, for being waay outta practice and in a car I haven't really figured out yet, I'll take it. Also note - car is 100% stock. No filter, no shocks, no brake pads, no catback, nadda. 245/40/17 Hoosiers on stock IRL comp wheels, and an autocross alignment (-2.5 front pasenger, -2.7 front driver, a little toe out and what I could get in back [not much] without shims).
It was a night event, and I was in the 2nd run group. First group had higher temps, but could acutally see the course in the twighlight, wheras there were 2 or 3 spots on course that when I was driving, looking ahead was a lost cause - it was invisible. Took me a run or two to get the car placed in the right area, much less on the right line, LOL! Note that all 4 cars ahead of me in PAX were 1st group.
In all honestly, most of them woulda been ahead of me anyway - but still, I could have made a little better representation, lol.
Anyway, next event not for a month...
