Well, since I already have the FE3, and the Koni's can't be adjusted while on the car, I think I'll stick with what I have. If it proves absolutely unworkable, then I may swap in some used FE5s and make the top work.
If that doesn't work, then I could probably jam some kind of Afco adjustable shock down into the sleeve. Have to cut off the bottom mount and probably weld it into place. But, I looked at it last night and I've made bigger things fit into smaller spaces with the Trans Am.
