despite what some on here think, limp mode can be engaged due to a certain condition being true, not necessarily by beating the crap out of the car.
i dunno what to tell you man, mine came on saturday during the woodward dream cruise, but that was because i sat in traffic for 2 hours only moving 4 miles. I checked on the tech 2, and all the conditions were set to set off the code i had (fuel trim lean bank 1 i think). maf at a certain hz, iat above a certain degree, that type of thing.
