Yes you can, there are several ways to go about it.

Read this: http://www.mx6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33613

That should give you some ideas on what you want and how you want to go about it. As for actual integration....

You can use an amp with high level inputs, easiext/cheapest way, not always the best. Usually OK for just adding bass though.

You can use a line level converter. A little better than running straight into the amps high level inputs, especially if you use a high quality piece like the Peripheral SVEN2 or SVEN4. It will wire inline with a set of speakers and drop the signal to RCA level. Good ones have adjustable output levels.

You can use one of the new DSP based correction units like the JL Audio Cleansweep or the Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty. Expensive - they go for $350 to $400 retail - but the sound is WAAAAYY better. Not really worth it for just adding a sub, but WELL worth it if you want to upgrade the interior speakers and go with aftermarket amps, but keep your stock deck.

Hope that helps, post back any questions....

Hey Spooner - hows abouts that audio section, eh?

Id's say better ONLY if you use a good one (e.g. balanced inputs). Without seeing the input circuitry of the amp you don't really know. Many LLCs are nothing more than a resistor network. I'd trust the high level input of a reputable amp more.

I use the stock with a better kenwood amp and a JL W3V2 12" and it sounds great.

I'm partial to the Cleansweep myself, though they do basicly the same thing. Than again, I gave up on Fosgate years ago, and I'm a JL dealer, lol. Might be some bias there.

On a reputable amp, yes - usually. Still, more chance for noise in my experience. Exapmle - MTX. Awesome amps for the most part, and a very high quality high level input section. But almost ALWAYS get noise that way. Dunno why, just do in my experience. Best in my experience - at risk of sounding like a broken record, lol - are the JL / series. Just solder some RCA ends to the speaker level wires, swith the input level to 'high', and go. Never an issue. Most others are a hit or miss thing.

Haven't seen either in action yet. When the Cleansweep was anounced, my impression was it was a great concept but fell short. Early info didn't mention and user adjustablity or delay (trivial to implement once your in the digital domain). The 3sixty has time delay, a palm pilot user interface, aux inputs with master volume control and more. Its higher priced but is more what I'd be looking for in a high end factory HU integration product. Maybe the Cleansweep has all that, but its not in the budget yet so I haven't looked any closer.

The Cleansweep is comaprable to the basic 3sixty, and priced about the same as well ($350 to $400 msrp). It does not include time delay, bluetooth compatability and whatnot like the high end 3sixty at this time. It does have a master volume control and selectable auxillery input. The 3sixty with the dsp and control goodies retails for $999, lol. JL may or may not come out with a similar enhancement package down the road, but at the same pricepoint the units are virtually the same, feature-wise.

That pumped-up 3sixty is pretty freakin' cool, though.

Yea, that's the one I meant. RF web site says only $700 though (bluetooth palm device not included).
