Damn bird...ouch

I did not have that prob w/ my '04 while I had the stock radio. I replaced the head unit though so I don't have to worry about it at all.

ok
to put in the amp and the sub you first need to make sure you have like 12 to 8 ga speaker wire to run from the amp to the speakers...(if they don't already have it).. next you need about 6 ft 4ga wire... for the power.. you will also need to buy a fuse and a fuse holder to go inline with the power wire...100A is what type of fuse you want.. mount it on the box or in the spare tire wheel well doesn't matter. once you have that set install a ground wire from the amp to a ground (the ground for the battery is a good spot for you to use for this)..now with the amp getting power and ground your set to do the hard part... next you need to run a remote wire (wire sends a singal from the radio to the amp to turn on when the car is turned on) this wire goes from the amp to the radio so you need to run a thin like 16 gauge wire to the front of the car from the amp.(if you don't have an aftermarket deck your screwed cause you have to find a switched power 12v signal.. next you need to run the RSA wires... this is whats gunna be hard if you do not have an aftermarket dack since these 2 plug ins (look like the things you plug into the TV for the input singals).. these 2 wires connect from the deck to the amp as well

basicly thats all you need for an install... now the RCA wires can be bought speratly but you will need the jacks to install them into the radio... if it's the stock radio the amp should come with a plug in with a lot of wires coming out of it that you will need to use to hook up into the rear speakers... the amp need to get data from something and if you can't get the rca's then you need to do it with the little harness they give you

You're gonna need alot more than a sub to make country sound good....
