Stock Radio question...

Does the 2005 Stock Radio wiring harness differ from the newer 2006 Radio wiring harness?

I have an '05, I was just hoping I could find a cheap way to run my Ipod through my stereo. So I thought to buy a used '06 factory stereo, and slap it in there, but the wire harnesses dont match (I think cause they have some sh-t for On-Star or som sh-t like that)...so im over it now...

Just let me know, Lookin to get rid of mine so that I can put in a new deck so I can hook up all my speakers without having to splice into the rear speaker wiring.
