indash CD DVD help

okay so i have my elcipse deck its a CD DVD all the good shit BUT.... I need to know how to make the dvd work WITHOUT the e-brake engaged does anyone knwo how to do this please help asap

Try grounding the wire that goes to the ebarke.

Just ground the wire... you don't need to use the ebrake wire or anything, just put it on a ground on the dash "skeleton".

Just grrounding it doesn't work anymore, you need to install a toggle switch so it can see ground and the the "e-brake wire".

With alpine there is an e-brake wire AND a foot brake wire! I had to flip a toggle which simulated me pressing the footbrake and holding it. Then get this, another switch had to be flipped on/off three times simulating me pulling and releasing the e-brake 3 times. Then I flipped the other toggle, simulating me taking my foot off the brake and...it works. Alpine is just ridiculous. Pioneer only requires on toggle switched once. I'm not sure what eclipse requires but the old ground it and it will work only worked on older DVD models.

i agree with you this time spooner not bright plus i know cops give tickets here and in cali if any are on infront of the driver been asked if i was watching tv... i just say nope watching music...lol

The rear screens won't play it either though. So my son can't watch a movie when driving. I know what you mean though and you are right, but if my kid wants to watch Bob the Builder, then I'm going to fond a way!
