As if we needed another distraction while driving!!!

I like the NEW (single) DettleJ - now if the other SCRLA guys could just get him to the track! (Of course, give him another week or so, and he could probably wire up a rolling CompuLink 1/4 mile timing system in his car and setup a track on the fly!)
did the bbq happen this weekend? I was busy doing this, but now that I have no problem driving long distance since i can watch movies, check my email, and pull up all the porn i can handle, i will be out there to meet everyone!

and the main menu is actually really easy to use, 8 large buttons to choose what you want to do, and the music is just as easy as using an ipod. Of course it is ILLEGAL to do anything but listen to music or use navigation while driving.

a program i found. pros/cons with it, but it gets the job done for right now. I will be building my own (or at least my programmer will be) soon enough. having a front end interface is a must, too difficult to drive and click, start, run, winamp or whatever. this integrates everything so you can drive and do tasks.

i dont wanna be a poser and copy you...

but; im gonna anyways since thats so awesome!

what all components will i need to do something like that?

i mean; computer wise being... screen, wireing, pc parts...

the only thing i could thing of thats small enough would be to get a miniMAC and stick it in the dash some how since it only has the cd on the front and no vents on the top, bottom or sides....

ive never used mac personally but im sure if its just for music and surfing, it might get the job done...
