that is a beautiful set up, I would personally never use it, but it would be badass to have. I have a habit of getting all sorts of cool stuff and never using it.....can't figure it out

I have it at home. I tried searching and forgot the string. I will post it when I get home if no one else has.

Nevermind. I found the post and the article. But the link is dead. Here is the site though.

I have it on my laptop. I can surf the web while driving (not advisable). I replied to a thread on dotnet while driving to the Maryland meet this past weekend.

most cell phones and carriers have options for digital data over you cell... I had my Razr hooked up to my laptop for the longest time. It's about 50 a month which gets pricey, or you can get the PCMCIA card for about the same per month cost.

dettlej: a couple of friends of mine did this way back... about 8 years ago, but a major part of the problem they faced were hard drive head crashes because of solid mounting a HD and the impact it the HD will take from normal driving. (Bumps, ruts, etc..) They ended up basically suspending the Hd with rubberbands in a can so it floated. have you had any problems with the HD and what kind of HD are you using.
