In-dash DVD players

I was curious if anyone has ever owned a Clarion or Kenwood in-dash DVD player.

I've been looking at them and i can either get the :
Clarion VRX755VD (2005 model) for around $700
Clarion VRX765VD (2006 model) for around $630
Kenwood XXV-05V for $14-1500
Kenwood KVT715DVD around $1000
Kenwood KVT717DVD around $1000
Kenwood KVT817DVD around $900

Do the Clarions have slide and angle adjustments? All i could find on the net was that they are fully motorized? WTF, can't they give specifics like kenwood does? I like Clarions iPod interface, but i like the looks of the Kenwood. What are the sound differences? I have the AAS with stock speakers inside and 2 12" subs in the trunk. So i'm pretty much stuck. Zfactor, i hear you're a whiz with this crap...any input on these or a better model for about the same price?

The only things i really want are is for it to be iPod capable, play DVD+R disc's (i burn my own movies, i love software), able to watch movies while driving. Now i believe they are both capable of dual zone which is a plus when you have children who like to watch/listen to annoying shit . Basically i'm asking for your opinions.

OK, so i've decided on the Kenwood KVT-817DVD. Now i can't find it for less then $1100 and most places are backordered. Can you all help me search for one that is in stock and hopefully below $1000. I'd like to stay away from Ebay if possible. Thanks.

I change my mind like i change my socks. Can you check the price on the DDX-6019 and KNA-G510 (i think that's the nav system). Depending on how much they are is depending if i get one or both. I'm looking to buy this about a week before i re-deploy so that i can time the shipping for when i'm actually at my house. Thanks Z

The biggest thing about the Kenwood that i like is that it plays DVD+R/RW. The pioneer says that it only plays DVD-R/RW. I burn my own movies via DVDxCopy and i want my head unit to be able to play the movies i burn on DVD+R discs. Has anyone tried doing this with the Pioneer? Also, is there an available NAV system with this model pioneer? I don't like the AVIC models at all.

As long as the disc is finalized it should work fine but I cant be %100 on it until I test it myself.....I plan on buyin the pioneer sometime in the spring.
