Rewinding on stock CD Player...

I have the stock cd player that came with the 06 Redline (no XM), and have noticed something weird. When I am playing a CD, and I am halfway through a track and want to rewind it, say, 15 seconds to hear a certain part again, i will press and hold the rewind button, just to be safe, for ~6-8 seconds.

Everytime, when I release the rewind button, the track starts playing roughly 5 seconds AHEAD of where it originally was when I pressed rewind. I have to then press and hold rewind a second time for it to actually go back.

This has happened with regular Audio CDs and MP3 CDs... has this happened to anyone else or do I jsut have a buggy player?

The RW/FW seems really slow on these OEM decks

I haven't noticed it, but I'll check it out when I leave work in the morning or later today & see if I have the same thing happening
