does the non advanced audio have a sub outputon the back of the deck? lookinng at buying an amp from my roomate who isn't going to be using his anymore... more than enough power for my small sub. i just don't want to jack with the line out converters or anything....

nope only way is line converting or tap the rear deck speakers if your amp has this feature..

Does the amp have speaker level inputs? If so just tap the rear speaker wires and run them to the amp after power and remote wires then your done.

yes line out converter is needed. tap into i believe the purplewire in the passengar interior rear wireing harness i believe. snobradn did a write up on how to do an install with out having aas. i believe in the section of audio.

It's the PINK wire in the passenger side foot well that is for the remote turn on wire

And as for adding a LOC....it's really really not that hard at all

Everything is in the trunk (except for the remote wire---it's 6 feet away)

Get some line taps (if you choose--they're easy!)....crimp those onto the factory speaker wiring & hook that up to your LOC & you got an RCA jack.....run the RCA cables to the amp.....run the remote wire to the amp.....run the power from the battery....run a ground wire & you're bumpin'!!
