Picked up a Kicker Solo X 12" today. Just one piece in the audio plan I have.

Man, but it's gonna be sooo heavy!!! I had a 5K watt Eclipse pro in my old saturn. If I turned it up more than about 60% it would shake your eyes inside your head 'til you couldnt see!!! I couldn't bare to put a sub that weighs almost 100 pounds in the RL. I sold it and now I am running a nice and light IDQ 15. plenty enough bass, and excellent SQ too.

Only weighs about 50 lbs... if I was worried about adding weight and slowing down the RL I wouldn't be putting a system in at all. After the 2 amps, and the box I will probably have close to 150 lbs in the trunk though.

Yeah, I figured it was well worth the enjoyment of my music to add just a few pounds. All I have is the one 15 in a lightweight 1/2" plywood box, 2 amps, 1 component set (no rear fill FTW) and the 31 band EQ... total system weight is under 50 pounds, and it is loud enough at 1/2 gain to make anyone beg me to turn it down, LOL, I love it! Have fun chasing all the rattles in this car, took me months to find them all, and there's still a few stubborn rattles at certain frequencies.
