6.5" In Dash

Will a 6.5" In Dash LCD Navigation/DVD/CD double sized fit in a 2005 IRL?

No we don't. It ALMOST fits, but you need to trim some of the opening to make it work.

I don't think you need to for the 06+

Crutchfield.Com tells me that nothing fits. Local installers tell me we have closer to a 1.5 DIN.

If you have a 2DIN kit, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease post up some part numbers, b/c that's the only thing stopping me from watching porn in traffic!

I am pretty damn sure the 06+ is a double din. Just swap the bezel from an 06

I fit a double din Kenwood headunit from Crutchfield (even though they said it wouldn't fit) in my 2004. I didn't have to modify the dash at all. Hell, I didn't even have to use a mounting kit. The brackets off the stock radio fit the new one and it bolted right up.
