New System

1000 watt Rockford amp pushing two 12" Infinity Perfects
6 1/2 two way alpine type S in the rear and the type S components up front powered by another rockford at 70 watts per channel.
Each amp has a one farrad Rockford cap as well.
And I mounted the remote bass controls in the cubby hole below the steering wheel.

I would have gone type R for the speakers, but my amp would under power them. The type S still sound decent though.

looks good man, but i bet those subs would hit a lot louder facing the other way.. only way they would be loud facing the way you have them is if you had the whole area blocked off so no air could get back in the trunk.. then the cockpit would hold all the bass compression for nice hard clean hits.. i experimented with this many times in my old sunfire running 1400 mmats amp with 2 procast mmats subs..

I was going to face them the other way, but I use the trunk space once in a while. I'm a putz and I can totally see myself putting a golf club through the woofer.

Most of the setups I've had in my Ion's actually sounded better w/ the subs facing the seats. Each is different though so try em both!

Ya plus the trunk wont get the bass and sound like a ricer when it bumps and ur hear the trunk and license plates rattle. I had 2 12" RF P3 in my S-10 and along with 3 amps and 4 speaker and tweeters and a HO alternater with a 1fd capcitor. Shit was loud now i only have the RF mono power amp and a RF P2 with my alpine touch screen with the AAS. Shit hits like a mother if u set it up right. And yeah ur sht looks good nice setup not much u can do with a box like that, lol.
