quick speaker wiring question

I am putting a sub w the stock head unit... I have the aas system and I.m using the line output converter I know I need to tap in theback speaker wires but what color is positive and neg? anything else I should know?

Polarity shouldn't really make an audible difference on the sub, and won't cause any problems electronically. If you do run into phasing problems, you can always just reverse it at the amp or the sub.
