My sub and amp with custom mount in trunk!

Heres my rockford power series amp and rockford 12" sub and box mounted in my trunk. I installed everything, fuck the stores! It took me awhile to get the brackets installed i had to take the trunk liner out and drill so i could get the screws in. But i have everything tuned right so this beast pounds like a mother dont wanna blow the sub, this amp can power at least 3 15" subs, but i like 12" and no room for 15"s plus adds more weight than i need. HAHAHA hope u like the setup.

yea just clean the wiring up and fact the sub to the rear and it will look good. Personally I would mount the amp to the back seat. Then you can easily run the wires under the back seat carpet, (its just held on by velcro, and you should only see the last few inches of wire sticking out that go to the amps.

alpine hu with AAS= no sound

Here is how I did mine..........

First time putting audio in my car yes, but i had hella shit installed in my old S-10 all custom done. But the wires cant really go anywhere since the ground wire is only 18in long and cant stretch the only wire is the sub to amp that really needs to hide. Also i turned the sub like this because it fits best this way and has support by the AAS amp in the trunk so it doesnt move. And i dont like shit mounted to my seat this amp is to big to go there i already test fitted it and it weighs over 50lbs anyways. But i hardly ever open my trunk anyways so dont matter shit hits hard thats all that matters. Crisp, clean/clear bumping!!!

I dunno man...first that lip and now this. I'm starting to get worried about you

They're right, throw the amp on the back seat. If you're going to run a capacitor it fits down by the battery. It'll clean that up real nice.

Lastly, bolting a q logic box to the floor pan doesn't count as a custom sub setup. When I open these I want to see some bitching fiberglass mold that takes up the whole trunk.

well if your set on leaving the amp were it is, atleast run the wires under the carpet, cut a small slit and bring them up right around where they go into the amp.

And as far as the ground wire being where it is, there is no reason you cant mount it to the seatback and still have plenty of wire to ground it properly. I grounded mine to the seat anchor points if memory serves correctly. The is no wrong spot to put a ground, as long as its a good ground.........
