I ended up with the Pioneer FH-X700BT its nothing fancy just what I need and plus Im going to add a 4 channel amp and new speakers later on.Lcd screens are nice but I dont need something like that for this car as I'm going to upgrade to a different vehicle in a few years.Reason why I dont install it myself is cause Ive never been very friendly with radio's and such I can tear a engine down but when it comes to a radio install I'm clueless and plus my vacation is over Wednesday than its work all the time again if someone had a good walk threw on installing a radio I would try to do it myself otherwise gotta leave it to bestbuy.
hook new radio wires to the install plug that you get with the install kit...
pull plactic part that holds shifter boot off...
pull on the ac vents and the bizzel will pop out...
4 screws i think they are 7m or 8m...2 on one side 2 on the other...
pull radio out and unplug everything...i think its 2 plugs...
hook plug that was wired to the radio to the factory plug...
snap antenna wire in...
turn on and make sure it works...
install radio with the 4 screws...
pop bizzel back on...
pop shifter plastic thing back on...
I guess I will try it once I get the parts I ordered the wire kit and dash kit didnt do the antenna adapter cause I haven't heard of anyone needing them on are car.2 plugs dont seem to bad if I need help when I start it I will jump on here.Only thing I ask why take off the shift boot ?
the bottom of my bezel just popped off like the other clips didnt have to remove the plastic around the shift boot.Ok my unit comes with a mic to plug in the back is there away around hooking this up like connecting a bluetooth mic to the deck or does this have to be used while answering calls.I really dont wanna run that long wire around look kinda out of place. Also I noticed the deck came with a wire kit says remote stereo kit is that for if you wanna solder the wires together ?.
