Honestly I don't think it'll do as bad as what we'd think.. Sure it'll be hindered by it's weight, but the massive grip and power will lug it around pretty good.. People that have drove it said it's surprisingly nimble.

But surprisingly nimble on the street, isn't taking a beating at the track. I'd honestly be surprised if it's tires, brakes, or suspension, could survive the punishment for long.

No no..I meant on the track. I haven't heard any reviews of the thing on the street thus far. It's tires'll handle it's top speed for 15 minutes..so why wouldn't it handle lower speeds and turning?

High speeds does not equal high inertial load on the tires. And obviously, stopping from high speeds is harsh, but not as harsh as constant hammering as it would see on a road course. See SpOOn's remarks on how Evo's do. I'm just suspecting these would do similiar or more likely, worse, IE - they'd destroy everything for 4-5 laps, then need shocks, rotors, pads, tires, before they would be safe to drive again.

You're way underestimating that car I'm betting.. it'll handle more than 4 or 5 laps...way more..

I'm just trying to make a point. A track tuned Porsche will most likely have far better stamina.

But you're talking about a car purpose built for the track.. Certainly my 911 only had the minimum required maintainance and I ran the shit outta it on and off track. The 944, after suspension work, was a trouble free car as well... The Veyron is a 100% stock vehicle that I imagine'll hold up very very well. Neither of us have seen any of the components used in the car upclose though but I imagine they're using top of the line materials..not the kind of car you skimp on.

I'm not suggesting that they'd be skimping, just that the basic laws of physics are all against the car.
