235's fit with a lowering kit?

I have bfg DRAG radials they are 245 and they are good for the track...but autox I not to sure.

i was always told 225s is as wide as you can go without spacers.

right now i am lowered 2 inchs with blow front struts and i am running 235/45zr17s in the front and no issues sofar i can go lock to lock without rubbing. i was planning to run 23540zr17s but got those 2 tires for free so burning those out at the track

I have been told that the 235's work. I have used 225's for 4 years. Mainly because that size is more commonly available in the tires I want.

235/40's will have no issues on stock offest or a few mm's LOWER offset (36-42 is about the range, 45's might or might not rub a tad).

I'm surprised that the 235/45's don't rub on the top edge! Good luck with that, lol.

I've been running a Hoosier 245/40 on the stock wheels for Solo II with minor rubbing, a 3mm spacer should handle it just fine.

My car is not lowered, but with proper spring and shock rates, all these should work about the same with a lowered car.

im running 225's. BFG KDW g-force, and when pulling into a parking space if i cut the wheel all the way there is slight rubbing... but only if you turn ALL they way till the wheel stops.

Wow - rubbing 225's on CL Storms?! Those are supposed to be a straight across fit for the stockers - which shouldn't rub at all with 225's. Weird.

lol. Tight fit, yes - but not impossible.

I don't have A6's yet, running a set of old RS04's that someone didn't get around to using and I got CHEAP. Great shape, too, but a little harder than I'd like with age (not cycled though). They do what I know the R (not A) S04's to do, I know the tire well. I'll be going to A6's or Z214's soon, we'll see - unless, of course, I go to STX and run Star Spec's or maybe the new Kumho... Or the Reo1R's, or the 615's... LOL - so many good tires in that class right now! Wish we had more wheels to choose from!!! I was loking hard at the storms, but bought some 7.5" wide MSR's for less money that looked better (my comp stockers were scratched to shit), mounted the stock 'lops on them and pt that race rubber on the beat up wheels. If I buy another set to race, they'll be for STX and they'll be 8" wide with a lower offset - so the Centerlines are out.
