Hey whats up man, if your going to moroso , that track is a bitch and it sucks . People get the worst times there but if your going to county line it will be a little better. When are you going to the track today?

shit, sorry. never though to put it up here.

http://www.erscc.com/ is the website for the club that is sponsoring the event. they tend to have a race every month, in moroso, at Calder horse track, Hialeah park, or homestead motor speedway. it's $45 for non-members.

http://www.driverregistration.com/ is where you go to put in your car's info and your info. that's where all the events are posted for all the clubs.

i'll put it in the florida forums as well.

Good luck on your car man. The stage 2 kit throws you into SM class since you directly affect the amount of bost in the car (from the smaller pully). If your sneaky you might get away in STX but if anyone knows you got a smaller pully and you get called out that is bad. The only tips I have for you is 1. Have fun and 2. Look ahead, don't worry about the cones your passing now cause it will be too late look ahead and plan out your route. and 3. WALK THE TRACK, walk the coarse as many times as you can so you know in your head how to drive it, where the turns are, are there any obsticals that might cause problems like sand, dips, bumps, ect.

Yea I would not worry about your class just call it SM and run. I have only been racing a few months and I am in STX since I have a K&N but still kick people's asses in it. STX is for mild moded cars (all suspetion and I/E mods but no engine mods) last time I ran I place 14/22 in my local chapter and i places 107/118 for my loacal SCCA run. This year just learn your car, don't worry about moding it's suspention or compeating for first place. Just have fun and learn the car's limits. And when you start kicking the ass off people who spent thousands of $$$ to mod there suspention and your on stock suspention you will be really happy.

Edit: Now SM is your SCCA class when you go to register ask them if they run off SCCA classes or there own, if they have there own classes tell them your mods and they will tell you your class

Good luck, for more tips/info check out the Autocross 101 sticky. This sunday is our first even of the season as well..I just got my RT-615 tires on, and with the way our classing works, I will not be changing classes!! Hopefully I should see some better placements this year, Last year my best finish was 14th out of 29 in the class.
