Track Times

well i went to the track on friday and it was really really packed i got there @ 6:30 and from then till 2 am i only got 3 pulls. My best tim was a 14.4 which was horribly b-cuz my 60 foot was a 2.89 . i couldnt stop the spin and it was my first time at the track so i was pretty much confused on how different the pavement on the track is from the street. My mph were very consistant ranging on all three pulls @ 100.2 - 101.8. im hoping to shave that 60 foot down to about 2.2 hopefully. Are there any launching suggestions at about what rpms to drop it at or wether to dump the clutch or feather it ?????

Damn bro thats awsome with only a 2.8 60ft. You gotta tell me when you go cuz I would of went with you. You gotta get there right before they open to get the most runs in and you have to stay until they close cuz you will usually get a good 3-4 last minute runs when everyone leaves. Let me drive that beast next time and I'll get some good times

Nice times, and with those traps, all you gotta worry bout is getting that damn 60' time down. Talk to bryan bout launching. I think he said he was going at around 2200 and featherin the clutch till he wouldn't have to worry bout the spin. He went 14.5xx stock, so his tips (or him driving it) should put you in the 13's.

Down in Florida. The only one I know that already has DR's down here is a guy in Daytona with a Cobalt.
