After watching that first video, that course is made out of a drag strip?? I don't believe I've ever seen any type of road course made out of a drag strip. Cool.

The best I can do is a google earth screen capture and a path that shows the course as seen in the video. They set it up as a MidsouthSCCA event, and yes it does incorporate the drag strip.

That's pretty cool, along with the google earth screen capture.

I guess Lap 4 and 26 are best, 26 the driver is dealing with a slower Z28 and blows by it.

The track is pretty nice. It goes all the way down the strip to the very end by the sand traps at the end(total about 1/2 mile) then follows the return road back to the staging lanes and turns back to the drag strip just past the tree. They run SCCA and PCA races here all of the time during the spring and summer.

There is a track in Louisiana (No Problem Raceway) that does the same thing with using the drag strip for the straight, and the return road for the course.

The driver really enjoyed lap 8

All that water in the braking zone was crazy too

Here in Indy they run a similar configuration at Indianapolis Raceway Park using the drag strip as part of the course!
