URC Subframe Rails

I have put the subframe rails on and I have to tell you guys that roadrace, that these are a must have. I can't believe how much difference it makes. and when you mix it with the torque forward front strut bar and rear spring pod bar that will be up for sale there soon, the result is just awesome. I tell you that I won't be jealous of the wrx anymore. you should all take a look at U-RACE-Cars site and check these things out.

I'm happy that you're pleased. We still have some more tricks up our sleeve. When Lance brought his Red-Line to URC, we decided to address the weakest spots of the car.

First was the chassis flex, without a good strong foundation the benefit of even the best suspension and tires would be limited. A good stiff chassis will enable your suspension to do it's job much more effectively. We have the Subframe now, and soon we will have a roll bar, then rear strut brace that will tie into the roll bar, and a front engine bay support. So we are basically aiming to build a cage into the car that will give you the performance characteristics of a cage car and only add a few pounds while doing it.

The next weakest spot that I see is the rear suspension. We can design a fully independant rear set-up for this car that would make a really big difference in handling! This would be a lot of work, but I think it will be THE biggest difference maker on a road course for this car. We'll have to see how things go with the stuff we're busy with now.

Ive been wondering how hard it would be to rip the rear out and put in a independent rear in its place. Would love to see this happen.
