Too bad there aren't any coilcovers available...springs are the way to go for now..and I'd personally go with B&G's

I have B&G and I love them! You cannot go wrong. I got a 1.7 drop after they settled. Perfect, if you ask me! The progress are closer to a 2 inch drop once they settle, for me being a daily driver I felt that was way too low and would put more pressure on certain parts of the car. It also would cause me to scrape my driveway everytime I pulled in and out of it. You cannot notice any difference between the 2. I have seen a car with Progress and a car with B&G's parked next to each other and I couldn't tell the difference.

The Progress get mad vibes from waht I have heard also! No vibes with the B&G.

I have had nothing bad to say about My B&G's as you may have read. I love the feel that I get from the road. I remeber going around Gingerman and the instructor kept telling me to turn in at a patch in the track. I never really saw the patch but I can feel it and that is when I turn in. The car hops around alot on the highway...especially I-696. You will like these springs if you buy them.

I have no camber kit and I have not noticed any abnormal tire wear on both my witnter and summer tires.

I have no camber kit, but I plan on rotating my tires alot more often then every other oil change! I hate these tires and they suck ass, but I still want to make them last. I used to rotate my tires with every oil change on my SC2 and that helped tremendously with tread wear.

You really don't need a camber kit, there is little, if any change in the angle of your wheels once you drop. I think the angle is more severe as you get closer to 2 inches and greater. This is another reason why I did not get the Progress springs!

1) I don't think that a 1.7 inch drop is going to put any bad camber on the wheels. Hell, dropping 4 or 5 lbs of air out of the tires is plenty correction if there is ever a problem.

2) Our tires are unidirectional (as are most hi-perf tires) so rotating them isn't really going help. A bad camber (which I am not convinced is going to happen) would wear the inside tread period. You would have to re mount the tires to "rotate" them with a traditional X pattern.

$2500 vs $200 at this point, and some fabbing.

I NEED springs before the 8th of April. I was trying to wait for coil overs, but it's taking too long. I hate buying something that I'm gonna want to change later, but I can't be running the in the 'Prepped' class with stock springs.

Get the B&G's spooner, I'm ordering mine this week too. I've heard nothing but good things from them. And are easy to install. If I get mine before yours I'lllet ya know how they are doing.
