How far would I have to have the snout machined...should I get it machined with the zzp tool then come down for measurements? 2.5 is I think the limit.

Thanks,

Dan
I don't think they can make anything smaller than a 2.7 without making their hub smaller.

South Florida does it, so why can't they? I thought they weren't making 'em b/c there weren't enough people grinding the snout down to make them fit? With ZZPs new tool, there should be a lot more of us dropping down to 2.6 and 2.5, ESPECIALLY once HP Tuners drops their new software suite with our engines in it...I'm going as small as possible when I can spend the time and money to tune this beast right!

Because their hub is much bigger than the SFPH hub. All the BilletFlow pulley rings have the same inner diameter, which is almost the same size as the outter diameter of the hub. Without redesigning the hub (to have a smaller o.d.) there is not enough clearance to make the I.D. of the pulley rings small enough to make the 2.6 and 2.5 pulley rings.

Ohhhh....so, could this be a slight design flaw when the hub was made? I don't think I like the idea of being limited to 2.7" - I mean, for now I'm good, but down the road, I'm gonna want to go smaller, no doubt.
I'd love for Doug to chime in a offer a glimmer of hope for those of us looking to drop another step or two from the 2.7...

Grrr...I might be in the same boat - let's wait to hear from Doug though, they've said ANY custom pulley can be made, maybe where there's a will, there's a way???

I could be wrong, that is just the impression I got when looking at my BF pulleys.
