No offense man, but you're never going to get that price.

I just went to www.chevrolet.com for the heck of it and priced out your exact same car. Came up to $21,635. Though it's hard to tell from your description if you just have the standard performance suspension, or if you've put aftermarket springs in there. If so, that'd be worth about $300 tops.

Plus, yours is not "brand new". Used is used, and 4800 miles is plenty of time for somebody to beat up on a car way too much. Personally, I think you'll be lucky to get around $18k for it. Good luck

Come on, let the guy try selling his car, don't whore it up, even though he is jacking the price just because he had a bad interest rate and kept it a couple months...

Not trying to whore it up, just trying to let the guy know right up front that he's nuts to be asking that much.

His sticker would have been over $23k. For some reason, you can't add the G85 on the website now. Thats like another $1,500.

Edmunds

Edmunds I find as one of the most accurate legitimate pricing forms. They factor in options, the market interest of the color, etc. Private Party sale is only $17,685

2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS 2dr Coupe (2.0L 4cyl S/C 5M)
Private Party
National Base Price $16,443
Optional Equipment $323
Power Glass Sunroof $198
Limited Slip Front Differential $45
Front and Rear Head Airbags $80
Color Adjustment-Black $-22
Regional Adjustment
for Zip Code 45458 $24
Mileage Adjustment4,000 miles $239
Condition Adjustment
Outstanding $678
Total $17,685

Sooo...you're best bet is start it at $18,000 and work your way down...4000k miles on the odometer or not, an 06 is still a year older than what is out. Market value is market value...the cars are very common right now so the residual value took a crap pretty fast.

i am in no way thread bashing here but being very respectful you will HAVE A HELL OF A HARD TIME GETTING THAT when one can buy a really new one for not much more... my freind tried selling his ss for 21,500 for like 6 months he finally dropped it to 18k and sold it the same week... he had 3700 miles and g85. again being very respectful in saying what i am... id def try locally or maybe autotrader if you have one there to poss net more out of it
