06 IRL for sale due expanding family....

Hey guys i know i'm new and all but i've owned my redline for about 4 months now and its been great at that. On that note i recently found out that i will be expecting my first born this year and i can not afford to keep my car with the payment and high insurance..... Well i guess i should get on with it. Its a silver 06 redline with an aero wing and stock wheels and tires. The car has 14,xxx almost 15k on it. I have done two oil changes with mobil 1 and a factory GM filter(i work at a dealership). I due have a car fax on it and it has had one accident by the first owner. There was no frame damage and the repair was done quite good. On that note the front bumper does have some cracks in the paint. There are also cracks in the paint on the rear bumber right above the exhaust. The dealer said it probally got that way from having to move the car around during the snow storms and most likely got bumped into. It never really bothered me any. You can't even notice unless you look for them. Under the hood and the inside are completely stock! The only thing i've changed on this car was the headlight bulbs to silverstars. Other then that it completely stock. As far as that goes if you have any other questions just feel free to ask. I'm asking 17k obo. Thanks for the space.

i wasn't really sure about what its really worth to private party buyers.....and i still owe about 17.7 on it..........but thats also why i put obo.

Do you know the extent of the damage???

Cuz correct me if I'm wrong, doesn't it only get reported to CarFax if it's something major???
If it was something minor, then I wouldn't list it in my for sale ad & then maybe mention it if someone ask.
If it was something major, then yeah I would mention it.

My '07 that I just turned in (lease pull ahead) had 23,000 miles on it & only had a payoff of $15k....something to think about.

Nah man its cool. I know your not trying to rain my parade or anything. To be totally honest i do not know the extent of the damage. All it says in the carfax thing is that there was an accident reported. And no the title is not clear.....i still owe about 17k on it. I don't really know how it would be able to be transfered or what have you. This is the first car that i've tried to sell that i still owe money on. The only reason i mention about that accident is cuz i don't want anyone to get any suprises or anything. I'm trying to sell this car as honest and true as i can. Any other questions from anyone and i will be happy to answer them as best as i can. Thanks

Carfax reports damage over $500 (just like the DMV). If it was close to that amount of damage, the owner should have paid cash to fix it and avoid the ding on the history report (unless he/she was ignorant of the system). The thing you really have to look for is frame damage and/or suspension damage. Those 2 things would affect the drivability more than swapping a fender and hood. The car is worth between 14-15k, otherwise. Good luck and congrats on the bambino!!

Oh no it doesn't have a salvage title or rebuilt because the state of ny is really picky on that stuff. It just has a bank lien on it....thats why its not clear. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Other then that there is no frame damage from what i can see and the suspension is all intact and in perfect working order. I just think it had a front bumper and hood isssue due to the chipping paint on the front bumper.

thanks i'm really excited due to it being my first kid and i can't wait!!! I know there more important things in life then cars. One day i'll own one again. Still for sale. and taking offers if anyones got one.
