Buying a new daily driver

Need some suggestions. The types of cars I'm currently looking at are Bonneville SSEI (Newest Body Style). 2003 or 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege. 2003 and up Saab 9-3 and 99 and up Saab 9-5. Anything anybody knows about these cars that are major red flags? Thanks!

Get a Viggen. Full of problems like all other Saabs.

The MSPs always caught my eye but damn they're slow. They got my pick for rarity but damn..turbocharged..0-60 in 8+ seconds? Nooo thanks.

They're honestly the IRLs of the late 90s/early 00s..these and the 900s are pretty sweet but if you're looking for something newer..it's them.

Uh, well, a Bonneville is a full-size, a Speed Protege is a compact, and 9-3 and 9-5 are mid-size-ish. So...why those specific cars?

I basically want 4 doors. Got 2 kids. I want to park the redline as much as possible but I want to be able to get the kids in and out easily while still being able to have fun when the kids aren't around. :-)

I would like 6k or under and probably only other thing would prefer a 5-speed (obviously SSEI is automatic, hence prefer).
