FEELER: FS 60# injectors, and 2.7" BF pully ring

Well, I am thinking about swapping the 60's out for 42.5's, and i have already gone up in pully size from the 2.7 to a 3". The 60's and 2.7 are giving me some trouble with the 10:1 pistons, and i dont think i really need either of them for the route i have decided to go.

now that i have the 10:1 pistons in there, i think im gonna just follow the GM 300 hp build book exactly. which calls for 42.5# injectors. and the stage 3 pully.

So if anybody is thinking about going up to the 60's, and is currently running the 42.5's, maybe you would be interested in a trade?? or if i end up buying the 42.5's i will just sell these. either way, guaging interest here.

I really don't see how the '60s' could be giving you trouble. They are just a fueling device. If tuned properly, should not function any different really than the 42.5's, other than a higher max output.

the pulley is a different situation, because it creates more boost, so more compression.

What kind of trouble are you having? Who is tuning your car?

fucked up idle, and misfires at idle like a mother fucker! didnt do it till the 60's went in. was professionaly tuned first before the cracked piston, and more recently tweaked a little bit by MGM.

edit: i should add, that its cylinder one misfiring consistantly. moved coil packs around, still same cylinder, and it has done so with 3 different kinds of plugs(autolite coppers 1 step colder, ngk iridiums 2 steps colder, and now with the ngk copper v-power plugs 2 steps colder)

You've run logs to see if maybe one of the injectors is bad?

swap around one of the injectors.

Mine purrs at idle, just like stock. It drives just liek stock around town. I get stockish MPG.

we did some logging on saturday. dont know if it showed anything about the injectors

but its only at idle, in gear no missing

also! if im idling and turn the a/c on, the misfire almost disapears completely, like hardly at all

try my '60's idle fix'

It messes with the min pulse width, and the adaptive spark control at idle

I think ahriman has a point, my idle bounces at a light.

I'd like to go back to 42s myself, but don't feel like actually buying them.

I have that set tibb left at my place, if you really want them, ask him.

Is my idle the only one that has very little problems?
