Thanks for the heads-up, Cole! I just sent the following questions to the seller:

Good Day!
a) Will this hood fit on a Saturn Red Line Ion?
b) (Stupid Question, but) Is there a noticeable difference from the stock hood (weight, appearance)?
c) What condition is the hood in? d) Who is the manufacturer (APC, VIS)?
d) What type of price are you looking for (I believe the brand new ones run for about $765)? Thanks and Best Regards!

Here's the response:

Yes it will fit on a Redline, it weighs about 17lbs. The hood is in great condition, there is one little manufacturers defect in a corner but nothing to worry about. The Manufacturer is JSP and the hood has a $200US reserve or $240Canadian

Local pickup is required tho.

I did a search for an Ion hood from JSP and couldn't find one anywhere. Not to say it doesn't exist. The only carbon fiber hoods I found were in the $700+us price range. So if this thing is in good condition, it's a steal at $200us. I wish it wasn't just local pick up only, I'd be all over that.

JSP hoods are pretty good. I know a sunfire owner with one. For the price, they can't be beat IMO, but if you don't mind spending more, there are better out there.

You just need to take the OEM latches off and put them on the new hood. By manufacturers defect I mean there was in issue when they were finishing up the hood. Its very minor.

Anybody have any idea on where to fit a hood for transport?

I am the one aka freshjive33 who just won the auction for the hood for the steal of the day price of $200. I'll let you all know how it goes with the hood. I'll prolly be picking it up tommorow. Until then guys
