2nd o2 bung?

I have a Vibrant D/P that has a spot for my stock o2 sensor and was wondering if it is possible to add a second o2 bung for use with something like an LC1 A/F gauge. If it can be added what is the cost?

Check the placement. You'll need that second O2 sensor BEHIND the cat. IIRC, their placement was pre-cat which will set a CEL. I'd drop an LC-1 in the precat spot, then add a bung post cat for the rear O2.

Looking at the D/P the bung in it already is post-cat. It is about mid way between the cat and the 2.5 connection to the cat-back. There is almost no space between the cat and flex pipe. can the LC-1 be used in a post-cat location too? I am going to get this put on in a few weeks and plan on getting an A/F gauge later this year for tunning and want everything setup on the D/P before I install it on the car so I don't have to take it off again.

Good, they finally changed it. The LC-1 must be precat or have no cat.

Great, well maybe I will swing by CTI tomorrow (if that is alright with them of course) and see if they can do with it. I hope there is enough space to get a pre-cat bung in there.

Edit:
Do all A/F gauges need to be Pre-Cat?

Pre-cat will give you the most accurate reading for a wideband to measure A/F, so technically you don't HAVE to have it pre-cat, but its kinda pointless to put it on there post-cat. The stock O2 sensor is post-cat, so its best to place it there in an aftermarket downpipe as well. Thats why you see a lot of guys that go catless throw CELs.
