Far better pads all around. Red stuff is a track compound or more track oriented like the HP+ Hawk. To compare apples to apples and having used both, Hawk is better bite, more friendly to rotors and less dust.

I put hawk pads from dezod on my car last month & friggen love them. They stop great & hardly any dust. I recommend them.
