Hawk/Powerslot F&R package...

Well, first off, hats off to Dezod for amazing customer service, I delt with a lad named Paul, he was real friendly/polite with me), and he had to let me know their system had a gltich and did not charge me shipping. I willingly accepted to pay the extra shipping charges that werent on the original bill.

Shitty part of the ordeal...brakes were +/- 530 shipped....ups gets to door...$121.75 in brokerage/duties...HAH!...what a farce...I called them, asked for receipt, told them i was going to canada customs office in Ottawa, the guy instantly, without questions says..ohh ill see what i can do...2 minutes later..duties+brokerage was 58 bucks...a little mor reasonable!

I'll start with some pics;
rears;

front pads;

powerslot rotors, F&R

installed on car;

crappy picture of car, shiny

These brakes rock! My car has no insurance right now, so I can't bed them yet. Although just moving it outside for the last picture, and tapping the brakes can tell they bite. Me=excited.

Parts(complete set) - 480 CDN
Shipping - 30 US (29 CDN)
UPS - wanted 121 for brokerage/duties...but those scam artists are jokes, and i threatened to take it to Canada customs office, and they knocked it down to $58 CDN..

total = 570 CDN...makes for an expensive brake job...but I am paying for proven names...

Also, my rear calipers say "saturn" not redline...and it took a long time to get them done

First, grinder on the front surface, then sand, then more sanding, then quick prime, then high heat gloss black, then sand, more paint, sand, more paint, then stickers, then 3 coats of clear....haha anal much?

Yeah he lives in Canada and it's tough with those brokerage and duty fees etc.

Anyway, glad it all got there on time and in a good fashion.

Pleasure dealing with ya too! Enjoy!!!!

I've been running this set up for over 2 years now, absolutely love the difference it made. Gotta grab some new stainless brake lines, they make a huge difference as well.

Yeah I keep waiting for them to start grinding, and keep checking them and the pads still have a little life on them. I did treat them with the BG stop squeal stuff, don't know if that makes them last longer. But I do hate to touch my brakes, it wasts gas Everyone always tells me "damn, you scooted right around that corner and never even lit the brake lights!" He-he.
