Maybe you won't read this very often. Most of us would like to see what a wheel looks like before we buy it. However, on your site, when we go through the interactive wheel system to show a "Saturn Ion Redline 17-inch", it comes up as a sedan.

Hi, im actually about to buy some "Five X" wheels from you guys two 16's and two 17's, and a set of toyo R888's. i plan on using this set up for the drag strip and my stock 17s with BFG KDWs for AutoX... i know there is a very limited selection of wheels with our bolt pattern (5x110) but, are there plans to expand the variety of rims that you carry, considering majority of GM's compact, and sport compact cars are using this bolt pattern?

I have forwarded this to our web department. I'll try to get it on there for you. Thank you for pointing it out.

Thanks for the good words Ozerman!

do you guys have concrete tire test data like your major competitor does? i'm somewhat interested in the nitto neo-gens as compared to goodyear eagle-f1 gs-d3 and it's very difficult to make a selection based on reviews alone. i generally drive an even mix of stop and go traffic and highway running around 70mph, but if there's no one in front of me, i love to agressively attack curves and i HATE hydroplaning.

thanks in advance.

Great question, I am glad you asked. We currently do not do any comparative write-ups but we are currently adding some more concrete data to our web site for you. Also our Knowledgeable sales staff is well educated in the products we sell so take advantage of speaking with them. We frequently meet with manufactures to discuss and compare the products they build and we get first hand experience though ride and drives as well. We also listen to the consumers wants and demands and develop exclusive products for us that meet these demands. For an example of our technical data improvements we are doing check out the BFG Super Sport AS We have added a "Product Details" page and a "Virtual Tour".

To help you with your tire decision. The two you are considering are both excellent tires. I personally have run the Nitto Neo Gen on one of my cars and I absolutely loved them. It gripped the road very well, were comfortable, handled rain with ease and wore very well despite my negative camber. The Nitto is a very well priced tire for what you get. I have not run the F1 GS D3's but these tires get awesome reviews from the big bodied sports car drivers. They are an excellent high performance daily driver tire, they have good life, and are comfortable. A lot of enthusiasts also comment on how well they do in the rain. If I hadn't sold my car I would be considering these to run next. To add to your decision. Goodyear just released their F1 Asymmetrical. This tire sounds like it would fit your needs to a "T". Here’s a link: Goodyear F1 Asymmetrical

Quick question:

I'm looking into getting a second set of wheels and tires for autocrossing. I've always liked spoke designs like the Drag DR-19, and I see on the mfg's website that they sell it in about 5 different finishes. Is there a way to order some and have them drop-shipped, or do they not make the 5x110/112 bolt pattern in all the finishes? I've found that Konig and a few others like O.Z. only offer those bolt patterns in certain finishes.

I'd love a set of 17" or 18" DR-19 wheels in gunmetal or gold, but if they don't make them, I could go with black, or just paint them myself. Any info?

(EDIT) Here's some reference photos...

I'd love to see these in gold...
