I really dont think there is one, or it hit at redline in 5th. I'm pretty sure that I read in C&D(?), that it was 143 Gear Limited(?), something like that. I remember that it indicated that the tranny ran out of gear.

135 for me.....ALMOST clocked by an independent source. Thank God for a hill between him and me, that would have been a one way ticket to jail for sure........

Nothing worse than finding yourself on a "Supervised" road at 135mph... LOL!

I have hit 140. And I do that quite often. There is a strech of road on I 94 between Ypsi and Belleville where there is a cement divider that runs for over a mile and no where for cops to sit. So at 3 in the morning there is no traffic on the road, thats when you can have fun. Cause if I do have an accident it's only me.

I'll have to 'investigate' this stretch of road....I've driven down it before, just not recently in my RL.

Yes you should. If you do it at night just make sure there are no cars ahead of you. You don't want to run up on a cop at 140.

I remember people that would think my 81 corvette was slow just cuz the speedo only went to 85, aparently they never heard of the gas crisis, anyway, when some one asked how fast it could go, I would tell them "about 25" after rounding it full circle.
