Mickey Thompson Drag Radials, they are an awesome tire and destroy the NITTOS and BFG. They are priced the same as well.

That would be there biggest downfall. They will still last quite a while as a dedicated drag tire, but not as long as the nittos or BFG. Heres a link to check some of them out http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...89&prmenbr=361

I don't have a redline but i do have a a SRT-4 and they are both FWD so here is what I will be doing at the track this year. I live right by Milan Dragway in MI and went there alot last year and will be there alot more this year.

My group of srt's use M&H Slicks, they have 4 sizes for front wheel drive cars.
24.5x8.5x15 <--what i have
24.5x7x15
23x7x15
26x6x15
Get a pair of cheap 15" rims and have the slicks mounted on them, balancing is not needed because your slicks will spin on the rim a little. Just put them on at the track and you should get a pressure gauge that reads low air preasure, the normal ones are not that accurate at that low of an air pressure. There should always be an air compressor at the track. A couple guys in our group have tried other kinds of slicks an so far the best 60' times are with M&H slicks.

Hope to see some redlines at milan this year. There is an event they have once a month throughout the summer there, the UTL races. I haven't read much of this forum so if anyone hasn't said anything about it yet you can check out milandragway.com and xceedspeed.com for the Under The Lights Series races.

Hope this helped answer a few of your questions.

Well, just find the cheapest wheels that will fit. You can get a couple aluminum 5 spoke for about 110 each. Its still the best bang for your buck when at the track.
