Tonight, i headed out to US 41... Now, i had heard a few bad things here and there about the conditions of that track... and to tell you the truth, it wasn't all that bad... I did not have good 60' but i think it was more my driving then the track conditions... The track prep seemed to be "OK" by strip standards... but it was a week day T&T event so its not like they were preping it often.

As for the time there... I was there between 7pm til 9:30... i got 20 passes in, including time it took to prep the car (rim swap, suspension, empty the car, tech) There weren't that many people there racing.

Running on BFG DR's @ 19.5 psi
2.5 gal of 110 oct mixed with 1/2 tank of 93oct
Boost @ 15 to 17.

PS... clutch was slipping by the end of the night, but mostly do to a few mis shifts which just heated up everything.

I think there was still some left in the car if i could launch better last night... i think i could of squeezed at least a 13.35 out of it last night... but there will be a next time

And i hope to get down to the 12's in a by the end of this summer

12's huh? that would be sweet
what mods are you thinking of to take you there?

my goal for this year was to hit mid-13's, and I'm already at 13.6 so if I knock off another tenth I'll have met my goal earlier than expected, anything more will be a real nice surprise for this year.

I'd sure like to get closer to the 12 mark too but not sure how to get there.

Tank full of 100 octane and some timing advance would help!

I have waiting here, Ported Turbo Housing, Ported Ehaust Mani, Ported Intake Mani and Ported Throttle Body... Which i hope should take my 10 A/F up to something better like 11.0 to lean out the car and hopefully unleash some of that power that i can't tap into.

I should be in the 12's as it is right now on my mods... but i guess i need a drivers mod, or find out why i can only read 17psi instead of 20psi

I hope next time i go, i can get my 60' down another .1 consistantly...

As for you, here is a little reference, my buddy that came along with me last night, though a srt and yes its different. On, i believe the same slicks as you are on, he runs 13.4's @ 99mph, with a 1.8 60'. So you are well on u'r way... just some more practice... what is u'r 60's?
